One of worlds’ leading automotive Tier One suppliers has a manufacturing facility in China producing components for customers all over the world.

Challenge

Due to extended factory shutdowns caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, our client was facing an imminent line-down situation at their production plant in Europe. With regular airfreight not being an option, a solution was needed to ensure the fastest possible delivery to the production plant to maintain production. Due to the time sensitive nature, limited flights out of China, and the size of the shipment, this shipment required the expertise of the market leader in time critical logistics to provide the best solution.

Solution

Royale International offered a solution that ensured delivery ahead of the customer’s expectations. Within 1 hour of confirmation our driver was able to collect the goods in China and begin the journey to Shenzhen were we utilised our cross border truck to bring the goods to Hong Kong. From here our dedicated couriers were waiting at the airport to check in the goods and take the next available flight to Europe. Upon arrival into Europe it was a fast transit to catch the connecting flight to the nearest airport to the clients production facility. Our driver was waiting to meet the couriers at the airport and handle the final mile delivery to the satisfied customer.
